District Court Judge, Fifth Judicial District of Iowa
Judge Farrell will share insights from his time as a judicial law clerk and his current perspective from the bench, including the value clerkships offer to both courts and future employers.
Nick Goodenow
Judicial Law Clerk, Iowa District Court; Incoming Clerk, Iowa Court of Appeals
Nick will reflect on his experience as a current law clerk and discuss his decision to pursue a second clerkship at the appellate level.
Jeffrey R. Kappelman
Attorney, Finley Law Firm
J.R. brings the perspective of a former judicial clerk now practicing in the private sector. If scheduling permits, he’ll discuss how his clerkship shaped his transition into practice.
