We encourage you to apply for the Volunteer Lawyers Program or to contact a Polk County Attorney for legal advice.
The Polk County Bar Association does not handle complaints against attorneys or judges. For information on how to submit a complaint, please refer to the Iowa Judicial Branch’s website at: https://www.iowacourts.gov/opr/attorneys/attorney-discipline/complaint-against-a-lawyer. The Polk County Bar Association cannot assist you with finding a lawyer. We suggest you utilize the Iowa State Bar Association’s Iowa Find-A-Lawyer website, where you can search for private attorneys. You can search for attorneys by city, county, or area of practice.
