The Polk County Bar Association sponsors a mediation service known as the District Court Mediation Program.  The program coordinates mediation in Polk County's small claims and family law courts.  It also provides mediation and arbitration services for civil disputes and handles buyer/seller real estate disputes for the Greater Des Moines Association of Realtors.
